Creative Arts Therapy and Clinical Practice in the NDIS Space

 This free workshop will help people working with the NDIS understand the diversity of Creative Arts participation and how to ensure clients have the opportunity to engage in the best way possible. You will also learn about the clinical applications of Creative Arts Therapy as an allied health profession enabling you to make the most of having a Creative Arts Therapist on your client’s care team. The event will be presented by Catherine Threlfall a leading educator and music therapist from Sunraysia Arts and Learning and Kate Cotching MFA, BSW, MMH (Art Therapy), (AThR) from Pelican Arts. There will be an opportunity for hands-on experience facilitated by the presenters. 1015 EXPRESS Art Group is Back in Term 1 2020!

In this art group for young people aged 10 –15, participants will be supported to use art to explore and share their ideas about themselves and the world.  Young people will be given the freedom they need to create artwork and experiences that really mean something to them with the support of Kate Cotching, local artist and art therapist.

Cost is $220 total for the eight-week program. Sessions run weekly 4pm-5:30 pm Thursdays. From 6th February to 26th March 2020.

Sessions run in our Mildura Studio.

Art group for 10-15 year olds starts 18th July

In this art group for young people aged 10 –15, participants will be supported to use art to explore and share their ideas about themselves and the world.  Young people will be given the freedom they need to create artwork and experiences that really mean something to them with the support of Kate Cotching, local artist and art therapist.

Cost is $220 total for the eight-week program. Sessions run weekly 4pm-5: 30 pm Thursdays. From 18th July to 5th September.

KEEP CALM and MAKE ART!

Four weeks of Art and Mindfulness for Adults in May.
There are many ways art can bring you into the present moment and help calm the mind and body. Each week you will learn a new and creative way of keeping a lid on your stress levels through drawing, painting and clay modelling.
